Pastor John Qualmann grew up on his parents’ farm in southeastern Wisconsin. He graduated from Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin in 1986, with a Bachelor of Arts degree.He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin, in 1991, with a Masters of Divinity degree.
He interned at Salem Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and taught for one year at Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee.He taught History for two years at Northwestern College.From 1993-2000 he served as Associate Pastor at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Plymouth, Nebraska.Pastor Qualmann moved to Asheville in June 2000.
He and his wife Leah have four girls. He enjoys family time, as well as basketball, sports and gardening.

Eva Krauss - Preschool Director / Lead Teacher
Eva grew up in Houston, Texas, where her father was a pastor. She graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota, in 1990 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grade at Peace Lutheran School in Bradenton, Florida, from 1990 until 1998.She began as Director of Living Savior Preschool in 2007.
Eva and her husband Karl have two children. When not being kept busy as a church organist andWomen’s Bible Study leader, Eva enjoys baking/cooking, working out, reading, and socializing.

Kristine Weeg - Office Manager
Kristine was born in Pasadena, California, and until 1998, Southern California had always been her home. She and her husband, Greg, moved from Buffalo, NY, to Etowah in 2002. Kristine had worked for over 25 years in the electrical industry (where she and Greg met), as well as working in flower shops.
She has been Living Savior’s office manager since 2004. When she isn’t busy getting things done at Living Savior, she likes to garden, hike, travel and paint. She also enjoys music, art and nature.
